Its forerunner was Rui’an Electric Appliances Co., Ltd. It was registered in 2001 with an issued capital of 10 million Yuan. The newly built modern workshops cover an area of more than 10,000 square meters. The company has a staff of more than 300, including more than 40 college graduates, who together are skilled technologists and managers.

The main products cover more than 20 items such as switches, sockets, plugs, mini-breakers, scaverger fan, bath warmers and hotel microcomputer control systems. Songyang brand products are innovative, elegant in appearance and havemany national patents. The products are manufactured strictly to ISO 9000 standards; they are produced and tested in accordance with IEC standards. 

The sales network covers the whole of China and has extended to countries and regions in southeast Asia and Europe.
